When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from the OAuth provider. We store your email address to manage your account and subscription status. We do not store passwords.

When you purchase a PRO plan, payment is handled by PayPal. We receive a confirmation event containing your email and subscription status via PayPal callbacks. We do not store credit card or payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To manage your PRO subscription and enforce feature limits.
• To respond to support inquiries.
• To send transactional emails related to your account (if applicable).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a secure HTTP-only session cookie for authentication (NextAuth.js). The app also stores user preferences (map markers, layers, saved articles) in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google OAuth — sign-in provider. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• PayPal — payment processor. Subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosting provider. Processes request logs.
• Groq / OpenAI — AI inference for the assistant feature. Messages are sent to the respective API.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email and subscription record for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion by emailing us at support@gta6-tracker.org.

6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
